Ofsted

Ofsted

Our school is rated Outstanding across all categories by Ofsted in March 2025.  Inspectors continue to praise the school for the extensive support that we provide for the children and families within our community.

The following are all points to note from our report:

  • Pupils enjoy attending school and feel safe and cared for
  • Parents value being part of the school community
  • Staff have very high expectations of what a pupil can achieve
  • The school has developed an extremely ambitious curriculum
  • The support for children with special educational needs and or disabilities is exceptional
  • The school is highly inclusive with a dedicated staff
  • The school has an additional resourced provision for deaf children, which is of exemplary quality
  • Pupils enjoy and benefit from a wide range of leadership opportunities
  • Parents and carers speak highly of the work the school does with their children
  • A strong culture of reading
  • The wider personal development of pupils is a considerable strength of the school
  • Staff are rightly proud to work here

Pupils enjoy attending the school. They feel safe and well cared for while they are here. From the early years, children listen attentively to adults and learn to cooperate, take turns and share. They enjoy, and benefit from, a wide range of pupil leadership opportunities. These help them to develop important life skills as well as enabling them to contribute positively to the life of the school. Pupils show consistently positive attitudes to their learning and behave well in lessons and around the school.
