How to Apply

Selwyn Primary School is part of Newham Community Learning (NCL), a local trust of six schools. As our admissions authority, the Trust Board has formally adopted the London Borough of Newham’s admissions arrangements (Board meeting: 16 March 2023).

If you live in Newham – Apply via LB Newham Pupil Services.
If you live outside Newham – Apply through your home borough and list Selwyn Primary School as one of your preferences.

‘New to Reception’ September 2026 School Tours

If your child is starting school in September 2026, you are encouraged to apply for a school place as early as possible. The closing date for all applications is 15th January 2026. To help parents make their school choice, we are welcoming parents to join a tour of our school throughout the Autumn term – our tour dates are below and can be booked by calling the Front Office on 020 847161723
